Wake up, sheeple! Steve, a ginger kitty from all the way in New Zealand, adopted a flock of lambs when he was still a tiny kitten. He quickly became the unofficial leader of the pack—and everywhere that Stevie went, the lambs were sure to go.
It may help that Steve appears to believe himself to be part lamb. Steve's human, Amanda Whitlock, has had him since he was a kitten, and says the he felt lonely as the only animal in the house. So, when he was 8 months old, she introduced him to the lambs Amanda and her partner brought inside from the cold.
That was the day when Steve found his calling, and made animal-husbandry history.

"They stay inside for about three nights or so just to keep warm," Whitlock told New Zealand Herald. "He'd just sort of get used to them and spend time with them inside and then the lambs move outside and we started noticing Steve wasn't inside any more…"
Since then, Steve and the lambs share an inseparable bond. It just goes to show that when it comes to love, there's no rules—just right.
